Baby Packages
In a country like Congo, many women give birth at home, alone, far from medical assistance and with a high risk that the mother or child will not survive. If a woman manages to reach one of the district’s village clinics to give birth, she can receive a baby package to take home. Knowing this encourages more women to seek out the clinics and have a safer delivery.
Human Bridge sends baby packages to countries in Africa, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East as part of medical aid shipments, and the engagement in Sweden to create baby packages is strong. You can also help ensure that more women give birth in clinics, giving both themselves and their children a fair chance at life.
